Getting to Rouken Glen

Electric Glen is easy to get to by car or on public transport from Glasgow and the surrounding areas.

The entrance to Electric Glen is located at Rouken Glen Park beside the boating pond:

By car

Rouken Glen Park is within easy reach of Glasgow, Paisley and East Kilbride. From Glasgow city centre, exit at J3 off the M77, turn left onto Nitshill Road/Rouken Glen Road (A726) continuing straight on until turning right into Davieland Road (G46 7LA).

Parking

Parking is available along Davieland Road and in adjacent side streets. Please pay particular attention when parking and do not obstruct access for local residents. A limited number of disabled parking spaces are available outside the main entrance to Electric Glen where there will also be a designated drop off point.

A car park is available at Rouken Glen Garden Centre but this is a good 15 minute walk through the unlit park to the event entrance.

By train

There is easy access to the boating pond from Whitecraigs Station and a 25 minute walk from Giffnock Station. Timetables are available at:
